A research study on the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on residency training in plastic surgery

Recent published data have shown substantial learning losses of plastic surgery residents due to the COVID-19 pandemic on a national level. ISAPS is collaborating with Stanford University and the University Hospital of Ioannina to facilitate a research study on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on residency training in plastic surgery. This will provide an opportunity to scale up the research question and investigate the learning experiences of plastic surgery residents during the pandemic across the globe, and we kindly request your support in helping us reach the intended audience.

The survey has been designed by Dr Sofoklis Goulas, Senior Researcher at Stanford University and Dr. Georgios Karamitros, a Resident of Plastic Surgery at the University Hospital of Ioannina. The survey launches today, Monday 10th January, and will be open for 4 weeks only.
